PROCESS DESCRIPTION
Sulfuric Acid is produced by burning elemental sulfur with air and subsequent oxidation to SO3 at V2O5 Catalysts. The acid is formed by absorbing SO3 in water resp. diluted sulfuric acid in a double contact process.
