GAS APPLICATION
In particular during storage in tanks the conductivity of deionised water increases due to contact with air. Continuous inerting of the storage tank with an inert gas avoids the diffusion of carbon dioxide and other ion-forming gases into the water. Generally gaseous nitrogen is used for inerting.
Benefits:
- Avoiding Oxygen enrichment in deionised water
- Avoiding carbon dioxide enrichment in deionised water
- No increase of conductivity
- No decrease of pH
- No contamination with dust or volatile organic substances
