PROCESS DESCRIPTION
The productivity of a fish farm can remarkably be increased if pure Oxygen is introduced to raise the DOC above the natural level (12 mg/l at 10°C). In particular, an adequate content of dissolved Oxygen in the fish tanks and raceways is important in order to avoid stress for the fish and to achieve a high feed yield. The Oxygen supply is conservatively carried out by any means of aeration which limits the stocking density in the fish tank.
